In May 2015, I defended my PhD dissertation (PDF), X-Ray CT Reconstruction on Highly Parallel Architectures, at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. My PhD advisor was Jeffrey Fessler. The dissertation is concerned with fast algorithms for performing statistical image reconstruction, particularly using graphics processing units (GPUs).
I am currently as postdoc at the University of Michigan. My current research interests include distributed computing, plenoptic imaging, and inverse problems in general.
Before coming to Michigan, I studied Mathematics and Electrical Engineering at Tufts University. I'm a biker, runner, homebrewer, comic book reader, programming language enthusiast, and political junkie.
